For Union College, this piece was a groundbreaking departure from past initiatives. Featuring clean crisp infographics, student photography, engaging articles and a magazine-style format, the publication received kudos for all involved in its production, and for President Ainley.

Union Development Save the Date https://www.artelevy.com/portfolio/union-development-save-the-date/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=union-development-save-the-date Mon, 19 Mar 2012 23:41:37 +0000 https://www.artelevy.com/?post_type=portfolio&p=378 A celebration of the most generous donors needs to balance true gratitude with a worthy event and the need to come across as upscale. The reality however is that it is important to remain thrifty to ensure that the “thank you” does not eclipse the gift.

This mailer was designed as a save the date reminder and is printed as a simple two-color piece with a paper embossed seal. Elegant. Inexpensive. Upscale. Effective. This piece set the tone for the following invitation and event decor.

Union College Annual Fund Mailer https://www.artelevy.com/portfolio/union-college-annual-fund-mailer/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=union-college-annual-fund-mailer Mon, 19 Mar 2012 23:40:56 +0000 https://www.artelevy.com/?post_type=portfolio&p=377 The kickoff piece for the Alumni Development campaign invited donors to make a difference in directing their gift to an unrestricted category. This allows Union College to use the money as best needed to shape the college’s future.

Being able to Shape Things To Come became a strong rallying point that existed through the entire campaign.

This initial mailer had historically been a letter send in an envelope. By creating a custom folded piece with a prominent die cut of the call to action message we were able to capture the attention and imagination of alumni to an extent that we has not been able to in earlier initiatives.
